Is there any specific timeframe for reviewing those "future release" items ?

I just updated #2207, which only brings fixes to cvs history parsing, and
should IHMO be considered for inclusion, unlike my other
possibly-disrupting changes for non-root and 1.12 cvs usage.

What about a "target release" field instead of this pseudo-closed status ?
 I'd think hat should make things easier to work with.
